What is BigGameBoardz?

BigGameBoardz is the LED video scoreboard division of Tri-State AV. We design, install and support full-color video scoreboards for high school gyms, stadiums and fields, with school branding, hype graphics and a sponsor zone that helps pay for the board.

Which sports does the video scoreboard support?

Ten: basketball, volleyball, wrestling, futsal, football, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse and Timer + Score for any other event. Each sport has its own layout and keeps its own rules settings, indoors in the gym or outdoors at the field.

Does the scoreboard need internet or the school network?

No. The scoreboard runs on its own private Sports Board network, so the school network and the internet are not needed during games. Game clocks run on the scoreboard system itself, the game is saved every second and a standby backup is built in.

Who runs it on game night?

Your scorer, from one touchscreen console at the scorer's table. Scoring, clocks, fouls, timeouts, the horn and graphics are all one tap, with undo for the last 60 actions and an optional PIN lock. We walk your scorers through it before the first home game.

Can it use our school name, colors and logo?

Yes. Your school preset holds your name, colors, logo and font, and the pregame intro, SCORE!, TOUCHDOWN, GOAL!, DE-FENSE!, halftime, final and senior night graphics all run in your colors.

How do sponsors help pay for a high school video scoreboard?

The bottom quarter of the board rotates sponsor logos all game, and every timeout is brought to you by a sponsor with a big countdown. Every logo shown is counted, so you can send proof-of-play reports at renewal time. With our managed sponsorship service you sell the sponsorships and we collect, format, schedule and report. Sponsor-assisted funding and lease options are available, and your sponsor money stays with your school.

Can we keep our current scoreboard?

Yes. Many schools start with a video add-on: a full-color video board beside the current scoreboard, which stays the official board. You can also choose a primary video scoreboard that replaces it.

Does it replace our official timing system?

For sanctioned games, keep your official timing system or a backup clock as your state association requires, and agree with the officials which clock is official. The video add-on option keeps your current scoreboard in place for exactly this reason.

Does it work outdoors?

Yes. The same system runs stadium and field boards for football, soccer, baseball, softball and lacrosse, with a high-contrast outdoor layout made for boards in sunlight.

How much does a video scoreboard cost?

Every board is quoted for your gym or field. We start with a free site visit in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area, then send a written, fixed quote before any work starts. Ask us how sponsors can pay for the board.

Where do you install video scoreboards?

We serve schools in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana and across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and we also install nationwide.

Can we see it before we decide?

Yes. Book a live demo and we will bring the console and show it with your school's graphics on a screen in your gym or press box.

What support do you offer after install?

BigGameBoardz is backed by Tri-State AV's local team, with an annual game-night support plan available. Sponsor logos and graphics can be updated at any time.

Concept renderings are illustrations, not photos of a real gym or stadium. Board and console images are real screens from the working BigGameBoardz system with sample data: “Hometown Hawks” is a made-up school, sponsors marked SAMPLE are placeholders, and “YOUR LOGO” marks where your school or sponsor logo goes. For sanctioned games, keep your official timing system or a backup clock as your state association requires.
